Security agencies have launched an intensive search operation for suspected terrorists who are believed to be responsible for planting two explosive devices in highly populated townships within the Kampala Metropolitan area. The incidents occurred at approximately 9:30 pm, with the first blast taking place in Kabalagala, Makindye Division, and the second in Nansana Municipality, Wakiso District.
While no fatalities were reported, one individual has sustained injuries as a result of the explosions. The injured person has been identified as Joy Nakasagga, a 23-year-old food vendor operating in Kabalagala.
In response to the incidents, security agencies have mobilized their resources to identify and apprehend the suspected terrorists responsible for these acts. The safety and well-being of the public remain a top priority, and authorities are working diligently to ensure the swift resolution of this matter.
