Following a boat tragedy on Wednesday that left more than 20 people dead off Nsanzi Island, a team of police and army marines has recovered three more bodies from Lake Victoria.
The head of the maritime police unit, Ubaldo Bamunoba, reports that with the most recent recovery, there have now been 5 bodies found, all of whom were female victims.
According to Bamunoba, the bodies have now been given to the police at the Kasenyi landing site near Entebbe as they wait for their family to identify them and make the proper burial arrangements.
