The young women and girls were recruited into the nation by an Indian broker, according to Mundeyi, who offered them jobs where they could make up to $10,000, or about shs35 million.
Investigations indicate that after arriving in Uganda, the young women and girls were placed in a home in Namuwongo where they were provided with all of their basic needs. On specific days in the evening, they were then taken to a bar where they performed strip shows.
"On the days they perform, the entire venue is packed and the entrance fee has been raised to Shs300,000, while a bottle of beer costs Shs15,000. Since there is usually enormous demand for these beauties, the venue is always completely full with many people waiting outside wishing they could in.
Mundeyi claimed that the females get paid a pitiful $50, or around 179,000, as opposed to using the girls' private services, which cost between 1 million and 1.5 million shillings.
According to the Internal Affairs Ministry, young girls between the ages of 19 and 34 are consistently targeted, and the most of them originate in the Asian nations of India and Nepal. Other young women and girls that are sought after are from Ethiopia and Somalia and are enticed in the name of making money.
