In a heartbreaking incident, a 27-year-old man named Franco Mulao from Mawumo village in Kaliro district has tragically ended his life after allegedly being denied chicken by his wife, Juliet Namugere. The incident has left the community in shock and confusion.
According to the police spokesperson, Fred Enanga, the unfortunate event unfolded when Mulao returned home around 7:00 pm and requested his wife to prepare chicken soup for him. However, Namugere declined his request, which reportedly angered Mulao. Overwhelmed by his emotions, Mulao resorted to drastic measures.
Enanga revealed that Mulao, in a fit of despair, picked up a rope and fled to the nearby bush, where he took his own life by hanging himself. The exact reasons behind his extreme reaction are still under investigation, as friends and family attempt to comprehend the tragic incident.
