Arsenal fans not happy following their involvement in the same VAR controversy as they lose to The Hammers

Tomas Soucek gave West Ham the lead with a dubious goal, and Arsenal were incensed.

For several minutes, the goal was examined by VAR officials to determine if the ball had left the play before Jarrod Bowen's pass to Soucek resulted in a goal.

Replays were unable to provide conclusive evidence because Bowen's torso obscured the ball from the primary camera angle.

Because the opposing side of the pitch's camera proved to be ineffective, VAR instructed the referee to uphold his on-pitch determination of a goal.

When Arsenal lost 1-0 against Newcastle earlier in the season, they had a similar outcome.

On that particular occasion, Anthony Gordon eventually bundled in his cross after Joe Willock was found to have kept the ball in play by a few inches.

Mikel Arteta lost it over the incident, calling the referees "embarrassing" for letting the goal stand.

Following the game, Arsenal released a letter urging the PGMOL to "address the standard of officiating".

Gunners supporters are incensed once more, with some saying VAR "robbed" them.
A Gooner declared: "VAR despises Arsenal." Definitely out. Twice this season, it occurred."

Another said, "The ball was out, completely past the post, and when it came back into play, VAR moved it forward by one frame. Outrageous!"

"Same mistake VAR made against Newcastle," a third person wrote. Then, to be honest, what use is VAR for? The ball is out of play.

The FA looked into Arteta's comments following the Newcastle game, and the Spaniard might have been suspended for two games..
