Authorities in Kampala are currently conducting a search for musician Mugwanya Patrick, also known as Alien Skin. He and his associates are suspected of assaulting Andrew Mukasa, commonly referred to as Bajjo, a well-known music and events promoter in Kampala. The incident took place in Katwe, a suburb of Kampala, on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, Alien Skin allegedly attempted to attack Bajjo at his car wash facility located in Kirudu zone, Katwe. Bajjo managed to defend himself by using pepper spray, but unfortunately, his vehicle, a Toyota Corolla registered as UBK 123C, sustained damage during a collision as the assailants fled the scene.
During the altercation, a security guard named Okalebo Vincent, employed by Caltec Security Company, confronted Alien Skin's group and discharged his firearm, causing additional damage to the vehicle.
One suspect involved in the incident, Mr. Ibra Kabadia, along with the security guard, has been apprehended by the police for investigation into charges of malicious damage and the shooting.
Alien Skin, however, managed to evade capture by the police and is currently at large. Law enforcement is actively pursuing his arrest, as well as the arrest of his accomplices.
Alien Skin gained popularity through his hit singles "Lockdown" and "Tulabise (Embozi Yo Etambuza Enkola)."
