Sandro Tonali Newcastle and Italy forward banned for 10 months for breaching rules

Sandro Tonali has been banned for 10 month due to gambling addition scandal plus also 8 months of participation in gambling rehab plan.

The president of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravina, says he has rubber-stamped a plea bargain.
An agreement has already been reached between the Federal Prosecutor's Office and Sandro Tonali, which occurred before the referral, therefore it must be endorsed by the undersigned, which I have already done, Gravina told reporters.

Tonali suspended for 10 months from football activities back with 8 month rehab plan for gambling addition. He will be back in action for Newcastle in August 24 as he will also miss Euro 2024.

Henry Winter one of the chief sports writer in his tweet said that Sandro Tonali’s 10-month ban confirmed and inevitable. He knew the rules.

He also needs help with an addiction. And football has to work even harder to educate not only players but those around them, if friends are placing the bets. Tonali - and football - has to learn from this.

Some of Epl league players who were banned include,
1. Joey Barton was banned for 18 months in 2017
2. Andros Townsend was also found to have violated betting regulations in 2013.
3. Kieran Trippier's case was caused by close friends who took advantage of the information the Englishman shared on a WhatsApp.
4. Ivan Toney is the latest to be handed a lengthy ban for betting offences and many others.
