Henry Musasizi Ariganyira who baptized himself “Omwoojo” is shivering like a wild bird in winter season after it has leaked that he is on a verge of being erased from the list of ministers in the looming reshuffle by the President.
While it has emerged that the fountain of Honor Ruhemba’ogwenjura is warming up to conduct a mega shake up his cabinet, Musasizi is in great fear that his name is not listed due to his bad behaviors and using his office as State Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development in charge of General Duties for his personal gains.
After being given a ministerial post on June 8, 2021, Musasizi started behaving like he is above every government official in Uganda. Since he became a minister, everyone that do not subscribe to his ideology came under threat. Musasizi started by threatening to sack the head teacher of Nyamweru secondary school Medard Turamyomwe Salongo if at all he does not dance his tunes.
Turamyomwe as a civil servant is supposed to serve in accordance to service commission terms than praising a politician. After getting a ministerial post, Musasizi ordered that all development plans the district was implementing under Kenneth Jogo, Biryabarema’s regime be trashed completely.
After being appointed the minister, Musasizi started preaching the Gospel of religious divisionism in Kigezi sub region to the extent of making sure that civil servants in Rubanda district where he hails from that subscribe to protestant religion are harassed. Musasizi has also severally harassed political leaders that do not subscribe to catholic religion to an extent funding candidates of his choice to contest in 2026 general elections. Musasizi recently held a meeting of his agents at White Horse INN in Kabale town where he ordered them to all back a woman candidate of his choice in Rubanda and start fighting Prossy Akampurira Mbabazi since she got married to a protestant.
Our sources have been reliably informed that Musasizi funded one of the radio presenters in Kabale town to go on air and openly declare prossy as a very stupid parliamentary commissioner just because she doesn’t put on a catholic rosary. The matter even reached before Uganda Communications Commission (UCC).
Musasizi has now reached an extent of forming a catholic committee led by one “ Odo”, Byamungu and Kabale based businessman Syril Mugyenyi to traverse the whole of Kabale diocese while fighting any protestant contesting.
Reliable sources have also intimated to us that the recent Bishop Annual Appeal Fund (BAAF) function at Rushoroza, Musasizi made influence through Rev Fr Augustine Tumushiime to ensure that Minister Bahati who is a protestant is publically humiliated both during the function and on radio Maria airwaves for delaying to pay shilling 7 million to help in educating priests. They however forgot when Bahati in recent years donated 80 million shillings towards developing the diocese and is now alone constructing Kicumbi catholic parish in Kamuganguzi sub county,Kabale district.
Sources also reveal that the recent belated international youth day celebrations in Kabale district, Musasizi influenced youths not to throng along the roads to welcome the head of state simply because majority of the organizers were protestants. This was evidenced after some of his strong agents like Switzen Ndabawe came out to describe those along the roads as Idlers. It has also emerged that Musazizi influenced Kabale diocese religious leaders not to step at the function yet they had a big role of presiding over prayers.
After learning that his chances of becoming minister again are in zero due to huge maladministration, Musasizi has implemented in greater Kabale and Kigezi at large, Musasizi has resorted to using Kabale diocese to plead for his sins before the state. It has emerged that Musasizi is on Wednesday (11, October,2023) transporting 20 catholic officials from kabale diocese to State House Entebbe to request for a meet with the head of state to make him stay as the minister. Musasizi has given each catholic official 200,000 shillings as transport with a promise of huge prizes in case the deal goes through. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday (12, October,2023) at whenever they get chance to meet the head of state.
